black and white or color

I like both. I mostly use black and white for people shots and only occasionally for landscapes.  But it depends on what the situtation calls for. That's one of the great things about digital. You can take the same shot and then try it out both ways to see what looks best.

    Life has colors...beautiful colors! For me black and white only when multiple colors are not available.

What do you prefer in your pictures, done in color, or black and white?

I think it depends on the photo. If its a self shot, I kinda like black and white sometimes. If its something else, color... or an altered photo mixed black and white and color.. if that makes sense.

Some of the black and white looks really good, especially when it is a very old photo back in the day, black and white give it a rich appeal.

I prefer color most of the time, although there are some pictures that are better in black and white.

Color. I don't understand why people even consider black and white. How many people today insist on a black and white tv? I don't think they even make them anymore. What would be the point?

Color...but I like black and white photos too, it adds a bit of a vintage elegance, for lack of better words.
