Depends upon where I was going and why.  My brother and I take a long walk everyday to lose weight and get back into shape but we drive to appointments and business dealings or to go to our friends house.

It all depends on where I am going and how far it is, I love to do both...but I find that walking is really good for you.

when i'm in my walking or workout mode it's walking all day. Why not walk if it's a short distance it would be lazy to drive. unless it's winter and freezing i'm not walking anywhere

If you had a choice and were going a short distance, would you rather take a walk or take a drive?

I think walking is much healthier for you than driving

I would choose depending on the amount of time I had, where I had to go and how the weather is. At the moment I would choose driving as I'm not in the best of health at the moment and I don't want to aggravate what I have right now going in the freezing cold.

I either walk or ride a bike on short distance.

Walking is great for your health!   I find it a marvelous way to relieve stress while bonding with my dog

I like to walk if it's short distance, otherwise I drive.

I would much rather walk.  However, I live in a small town where things are kind of spread out and everyone drives.  I swear people think if you are walking, you must not have a car, have a legal problem, or are just poor.  People seem to be suspicious.

If time is not a concern, I would definitely walk. Driving down the block is just a waste of gas. It’s sad the American lifestyle relies too much on driving that we are grossly out of shape. Unless you have to carry bulky or heavy items, then it’s reasonable to drive.

I am a lazy bones by nature.  Of course, I don't drive to the mailbox (we have a long driveway) but anywhere else I am going to drive.

it would depend on where, time etc, if we there is no time constraint, if somebody's is there with me i like going by walking so you can talk, enjoy the climate etc
When going alone i prefer car, but again if its really short distance i dont mind walking

If I had my choice it would usually be walking. You get exercise and get to smell the roses at the same time.
