Daytona 500 thoughts...

For those of you who watched the Daytona 500, what did you think of the race?

I am not a huge racing fan, but I did watch the race.  Eighth place seemed to steal the show.

I didn't get to see the race because my daughter was in a play, but did see the highlights on the news. WOW!!!

im not a big fan of nascar, but i had to watch it to see how danika did....must say i was impressed, i think she will have a good season!!

I thought it was a good race.... I was actually hoping Danika would've gotten in the top 5, esp. when she was 3rd going into the last 20 laps, but being top 10 is still a great showing for her. I was sort of disappointed with the yellow flag so late in the race. The last part of the race is always the most exciting, but when there's a yellow, it slows it down and isn't as much of a race. Still, that's the way racing goes.

I am a huge fan and I didn't like it.   Maybe it was just me but it did not seem very exciting.  In fact, I got on the computer and just left the TV on and found myself not paying much attention.  It seems like it is always either Brad K. or Jimmy winning and that is getting kind of old for me.  What did you think, Tom?

I thought it was pretty uneventful, not really the style I like. The real season starts next week in Phoenix.

I'm not a huge fan of watching the races anymore, use to love it.....I would love to drive one of the cars around the track a few times at top speed......it would satisfy a dream of mine....
