I do too!  I love looking at classic cars (they were cool) and I like old classic music, when the words meant something.

I too love the Oldies when it comes to music.  Today's music is horrible.  Depending on the type of Car I could like it.

I like the oldies also. This new muscis, if you can call it music is awful. I guss the old saying of if you can't sing play loud.  Also the clothing is not too my taste either. So just call me an old fogie. Which is fine. Things were so much better in my younger days. We also had a lot of respect for our parents, teachers, the law and our elders. All of that is missing now.

I keep hoping that you are right about that.  That there will be good music again.  I do think there is some good music now, but not as much coming out as there used to be.  I always say that I was born in the wrong time period.  I think my personality and values are more in tune with the 40's and 50's.  I was born in the 60's and lately I have a real hard time understanding most people.  Makes me want to withdraw from society.  Everyone is so busy.  Every where you go at stores, businesses, doctors, people are in a hurry and don't seem to care about others.  I think there is a terrible lack of empathy going on.  The people who have not lost theirs really shine because you don't see it much anymore.

I was born in 60s as well.  :angel11:

There are some things that, instead of being called old, are called antiques. I am a big fan of Antiques Roadshow; it is fascinating to see what people have and the value of those items.  The oldies are making a comeback, and I love it.

I love the oldies too. I listen to todays music but only some of it. And cars were definitely built better. They didn't crumble like the do now when you have an accident. I learned to drive on a 73 wagon and that thing was like a tank.

Cars from the '60's had such style; you could recognize the make and model from a block away.  Cars from this decade (at least) mostly look alike.  I realize the old cars were gas guzzlers, but I loved the look and spaciousness.

I've gotta say that I realized I am getting older the other day when they played "With or Without You" - from U2's Joshua Tree album.  It was the number one song of 1987 and it's hard for me to think of 1987 as being an "oldie."  Again, I guess that points to the fact that I'm getting older.

I love the oldies music, but I remember them when they were hits!  I hate the music from today, but my mom probably hated the music I loved.
