I've sold a few things on ebay, mostly duplicate stamps. I haven't really made a profit, but I didn't expect to anyway, I was just getting rid of stuff I didn't want. But now I mostly list my stuff on Listia, because there are no fees.

I have done well selling things on ebay.   Would be even better if it wasn't for the ebay fees, like insertion fees, final value fees, and final values fees on shipping!!!  Course, its always hard to please everybody to maintain 100% positive feedback.  I had somebody leave negative feedback based on a pair of jeans they purchased that had all the new tags on it, they complained the jeans weren't really stretch which is what the tags all said on it.  Kinda joke!

I have a Facebook group that i sell our stuff on. I just bought something from easy and ebay but not sure how to sell on it. But Facebook is free and its easy! We all have a weekly meet that we meet at and exchange our things. I know most of the people i sell to but if not u can always make a papal account and ship it!

I have only bought stuff on ebay, and never sold anything. I have some stuff to sell, but not sure about the procedure to list stuff on ebay.

Ebay must be losing quite a few people because I noticed that they are now offering free listings for a specific amount of time and/or for a specific quantity of items. I think last in May, the quantity was around 100 items(Don't remember).

I used to sell a lot on eBay, but I also bought more than I sold. Usually I sold office and transcription equipment, garden tractors, and once-in-a-while, hubby would restore backhoes or other construction equipment, which we would sell. I did make quite a bit of money back then but haven't sold anything lately, not that I didn't try. It just seems like since the recession, people aren't that eagar to buy stuff unless it's brand new.

The trouble with trying to sell stuff on ebay for profit, is that they cater too much to buyers, and don't have enough protection for sellers. They need to have a better dispute system, because there are way too many scammers out there, that rip the sellers off, by claiming item not as described, etc, just to get free stuff. Also, Paypal and the credit card companies make it way too easy for buyers to do chargebacks.

Many years ago I sold all my old concert t-shirts. I made a decent amount of money on stuff I had been getting ready to donate. Depends on what you are selling, a lot of the stuff isn't worth the effort for me.

My husband sold on ebay regularly over a year ago.  I can see how ebay is so successful.  He was selling...all the time.  But the fee's that ebay was charging brought his profit down.  Really down.  He stopped doing it because paying ebay off monthly became a part of the budget.  After he would spend hours learning the in's and outs of it...they would change something...about every 30 days on average that affected the category he specialized in.  A word of advice.  Only post when the have penny or free listing days.  Otherwise it can eat up your time and money rather make any.

I've never sold nor bought anything on Ebay.  Years ago I thought about trying to sell some stuff on there but I didn't find the site very user-friendly.  Maybe I'll look at it again one day in the future because I do understand a lot of people use the site.  I've gotten a little more computer savy so maybe it would seem easier to do now.

I've bought a few things from Ebay, but I've never sold anything on there. I use Amazon to sell my books because the fees are lower.

I have tried selling stuff on ebay to get rid of things I no longer need. I actually made some money on it. A person can make extra cash by selling on ebay.
