Somebody posted this out on FB and I shared what a messed up world we live in and someone else shared it from me and posted this would be funny If it wasn't true so sad

wow. i realize that's one of those frustrating moments, but this is mean...

even if they had learned math via spanish, it doesn't change anything.  if you've never worked as a cashier in any retail, you almost have to go on auto-pilot so that you can do the transactions fast as possible.  you stop thinking about calculations because the 'machine' does everything for you.  also, sometimes, those cash registers require a manager to approve any odd cash exchanges other than the one that already happened.....the cashier more than likely needed the manager to allow her to access the cash drawer.
