Get a gmail.com email account for your paypal account
and use it for any/all PTC, GPT and survey sites.

There are many things to like and dislike about a gmail account, but it does not preclude you from seeing all your mail.  You can see all of the mail that comes through inclluding anything that you or gmail defines as spam.

In hotmail, yahoo and email sites that use yahoo processing, there will be email that is blocked from ever seeing your email box.

I have a Windows 7 laptop and one of things that I like about it is that it comes with LiveMail -- this brings all (just 4) of my emails in from all of my email address (have to set it up to receive them, of course), but it works quite well in receiving mail and gives me options to save emails in named folders.

I like LiveMail processing better than what I have under gmail so I don't use the gmail site to maintain or organize my email.

I use Hotmail mostly but also Yahoo and Gmail. Never had any issues receiving emails with any of the 3 and my security is set to 'high' on all 3. I just made sure to add FC and Paypal to my 'safe sender' list and I receive all emails from both FC and Paypal.

Because you added those sites to your "safe sender" list, is why you haven't missed any of their emails.

Easy enough to do when you know who you want to include, but if you're doing offers, it may be tougher to identify who you need to add to the safe list to make sure you get the confirmation and followup emails.
