How Did you meet your Signifacant Other?

I met my husband on the internet. We were both on Mate 1, we were both just looking for friends, nothing serious, but we found out that we had a lot in common. After a month of talking on Mate 1, I finally gave him my phone number, the first couple of times we talked on the phone we were both so nervous and shy the conversation was VERY short. After that we were on the phone ALL the time. This went on for about 4 months, then he flew me and my brother (chaperon) to Mississippi to spend a week. (I'm from NC). Well, about a year after we first met on the internet we were married. We have been married about a year and half now and doing great.

I was comming home from a club, stopped at a red light and the passenger of the car next to me asked me for my number.  I was feeling a little adventureous so I gave it to him but then I saw the driver... I asked the passenger not to keep my number but to give it to his friend.. He called me as soon as we went thru the light, we talked for hours... Ok well me and my boyfriend met at Job Corps. I went to see how good it was since Ive seen so many comercials about it on tv. I thought that i would check it out. So I went and met a bunch of people. I started talking to this guy but things didnt work out. Well his cousin started calling me trying to get us back together but it didn't work so he tried getting me to date him but I kept turning him down. Finally after about a month or so I gave him a chance and we been together since. Its been about 8 months and we are engaged. He lites my world up

5 years ago i went to a bar with my cousin. i saw this cute guy sitting at the other end of the bar and asked him to come drink with us and he said no. later that night i went outside to use my cell and that same guy asked for a light. he apologized for blowing me off, saying he thought it was weird that i wanted him to hang out with me and my boyfriend, i told him that was my cousin and we started talking. we exchanged numbers and i left. the next day he called me and we went out to lunch. we both agreed we were just going to keep things casual, no commitment. that lasted for about 6 weeks until one day i went to his job and he introduced me to his boss as his girlfriend. within 3 months, we had fallen in love with each other and 4 months after that we moved in together. 3 later we had a daughter and got married.

I met my ex-husband when I went to junior high, but never paid much of attention to him then. A few years later my girlfriend was dating a guy, and we were over at his house. My ex was there and we started talking and the relationship started from that point.

I guess I could not really say that he is my signifigent other at this time in my life. BUT he is the father of my 4 children. I spent 12 years of my life with him, and I am not involved with anyone else.
