I like cruises, but these more frequent incidents with cruise lines does make me hesitate a little. This is the second related to Carnival in more recent times, so I now wonder about them.

i used to think I would like to go on a cruise, but now I'm not so sure. I understand that overall the cruise industry is relatively safe, but when things go wrong you're just trapped on the ship with nowhere to go.

Like planes, trains, and automobiles many, many more cruise ships make their destinations without incidents than those that do not. Live life to the fullest so you don't regret not doing what you really wanted to do in life.
I think that it is sad that it happened and all those people had to suffer for so many days without basic personal hygene. I wish someone would have stepped up and sent more than a tugboat to rescue them. At least the state of Alabama sent out harbor bosats to bring it to shore when the ship reached their water border. Thank God for them and their generosity! I know those people are all ready for a shower!

As with everything else we hear in the news. It is always negitive. You never hear about all the trips that nothing has gone wrong. But  let a couple have problems and oh lordy it is like the end of the world. I would go another one. And proably will soon.

Yea, I have never been on a cruise.  My mom liked to go on cruises and she never had anything negative happen when she was on a cruise however I have heard alot of negative stuff so I guess I'll stay here on dry land.  I don't have cruising money at the present time anyway lol.

A friend of mine is going on a cruise in July this year 2013. She’s determined to have a good time and fully enjoy herself. What are the chances and likelihood you will go through an accident? The more negative you think, the more negative energy you will attract. If you are hesitant to go due to fear, then don’t go. Going on vacation should never be threatening.
