car I will never fly lol
If there where no cars, buses or cruises you'll fly or you won't be going anywhere unless you walk.

I hate flying.  I like a nice road trip across country.  If I were traveling internationally, I'd fly rather than take a ship.  Too slow.

if I had to choose my way of travel.  Over a long trip like 1000 miles I would choose Air plane or possably a train. Anything less than 1000 miles a car would be necessary or if i didn't need a car a destination a bus might do

Car trips are really fun because you stop anywhere along the way, but I really enjoy long trips on the train as well. It's nice to not have to drive and be able to get up and walk around.

I prefer car because it gives me control but sometimes it is too far so the plane it is. I think the train could be fun but I think it is kind of expensive relative to other modes of transportation.

I do not fly, so it would have to be by train or car.
The train is nice if you get your own cabin.
going by car gives you more control on destinations and taking side trips on the way.

i have taken the amtrak from texas to illinois and back; then back and back again.  there aint no better way to travel and be able to appreciate the beauty of this great land.  the train that goes from houston to chicago, has dinning cars enclosed in glass that allows you to see the beauty of the land, at day; and the wondrous mystique of the star-spangled sky, at night.  not to mention hassle-free traveling when you dont have to drive, or hustle and bustle through a crowded airport.  ahh, yes!  the trains get my vote. ;D

It all depends on where and how long i will be. I want to drive the alcan highyway to Alaska. Have already flown. Then after i get there take the train across, then fly back to where i started to pick up motorhome and drive back. You can take a ferry from parts of Alaska to the state of washington i want to do that too. They will ship the mh on the ferry and then you can sleep in it as it is a 3 day trip back on the ocean. Need about 3 months to do it all but what a trip.

If I was purely interested in going from point a to point b then I would choose planes, since they're safer and quicker (especially for long distances). Personally, I would rather go on a road trip just for the experiences you would miss in a plane.

If money were no object I would opt for flying.  Gas prices in our cars these days makes a roadtrip just as expensive if the plan is to go a great distance.  I actually let my car go because of the added expense...gas, insurance and upkeep..than my sister surprised me with a Honda for my vehicle.  That was in Sept.  Since I've had it I've spent more $$$ in gas and maintenance.  If I could pull it off I would walk everywhere.

Depends for me. My husband refuses to fly unless there is some way to knock him out, so we can't go anywhere over seas. He has said that he would like to take the girls on a scenic train trip and them see the country that way. But when we go to the beach or mountains we drive because it is only about six to seven hours. Even when we go up north to see family we Drive. Yeah it's about 14hours from down here and we have to stop over night but that allows us to choose a different historic sight each trip and let the girls see it.

If u had to choose how would u travel by plan, car, bus,or train

it all depends wheather you have enough time. I like to travel by car because i can take my time and stop somewhere and shop at the outlet along the way.
