Battling Salons
« on: February 04, 2013, 03:49:28 am »

A new hair salon opened up for business right across the street from the old established hair cutters' place.

They put up a big bold sign which read:
"WE GIVE SEVEN DOLLAR HAIR CUTS!"

Not to be outdone, the old Master Barber put up his own sign:
"WE FIX SEVEN DOLLAR HAIR CUTS"

Ha Ha!
You get what you pay for. Reminds me of being at a minor league baseball game in Portland, OR. A barber had a chair in the stadium and was charging $5 for a haircut. My friend disappeared for a while and removed his cap and said, "I just got a $5 haircut!" My other friend and I looked at him and said, "Yes you did."

You do not need to pay for a hair cut at a salon. Look for salons or beauticians that offer free hair cuts in your community. Save that money to buy your shampoo and conditioner.

I never heard of such a thing  :dontknow:..........I can imagine what a "free" hair cut would look like lol........how would I go about finding one?

If you find a HAIRDRESSER that you like, you can stay out of the battle.
It's hard to keep a hairdresser for more than three years.
I have had the same one for five years going on six. She comes to my apartment after hours.
I have found her two other customers in my apartment building.

That was cute  I never heard of a free haircut but don't think I would want one.  I would rather pay and know what I'm getting rather than "take a chance"

Funny joke - I usually look for a barber to cut my hair (I'm female).  They do just as well as a salon and often are cheaper.
