how does the world see gays?

not really sure what you're asking? do you mean would businesses want gays working for them?  i guess it would depend on the individual person.  homosexuals tend to be less frowned on than in the past, but there are still way too many closed minded people out there.

I believe up until the sixties you could be arrested for being homosexual.I've seen that from news clips in san fran.Today most but not all except gays and i believe some businesses might do better .

I don't happen to believe in it, but will not hold it againt a person as i have a gay stepson. Of course he is mad at us right now because we won't support him and his life style with money. It is life and his choice. so he can work and pay his own bills.  I have worked with a lot of gay men and women, learned early on you don't say much.Just do your job and we will get along.

Gays are people too. They have feelings and thoughts. Just because they choose a different lifestyle does not mean there is a big difference. Treat others like you wanna be treated. With respect and kindness.

I think they view them a little bit better then they use to. It depends on what part of the country or world you are in.

I have some gay friends but I don't believe in Gay Marriage. I think the world sees gays in a positive light now especially in the US. I think gay marriage could be the future for all 50 states in America. This is not from a disgruntled conservative but it is just the way society is going. It is like what was wrong 50 years ago is made right today. We are redefining morality. It is an interesting debate.

society is progressing but you don't have to accept it.

It's not just gays who are being judged. We all are.. fat people, skinny people, 'poor people', people who receive assistance, and the list goes on. Those people who think they are better than the rest of us will one day reap what they sow. We are to love one another, no matter what.

Just this topic bothers me. It feels like the community of LGBT has grown so much but at the same time is still so far behind. To be talking about this makes me feel like we as a society will never move away from this. Something so non important, it's really quit sad. Every where we turn when there is a minority of any kind they are always judged. We as adults should be wiser and be able to set a good example for our children. It doesn't matter lesbian, caucasian, shorter, skinnier, wheel chair bound, etc...we are all part of this earth and should be able to live civilized. This is exactly why there are so many shootings in schools and bullies on the playground. Children hear and see their elders complain and put down a minority and they copy and take out their anger in any way they know how. Many young adults and kids killing themselves because they feel they are in a minority of some kind and they can't take that rejection.  We as the ones to look up to really could be doing a better job. (not that a large part isn't connected at times to t.v., movies and video games though). This is a really hot topic for me, sorry if I rambled but every one is allowed an opinion.

My only issue is gay marriages.  That seems totally wrong to me.  Plus what is wrong with just living together as friends unless there is financial advantage or other equally logical reason.
