I never sleep on my back because every time I do, I have nightmares. So I mainly lay on my side, but when I am sick, I usually lay on my stomach.

I sleep on my stomach, but I wake up on my side. funny how we cannot recall the position we went to bed in.

The big question is if you like the side etc, how do you end up in a different position and then realize your nights sleep made your neck hurt or back etc. Yes some specialist say it is your pillow or you need a certain bed but really what is it that your body is doing during sleep to make itself comfortable. Stress, pressure from pillows or from not the right bed. ???? There is a lot of thoughts and studies but each person is different. No one study on okay lets say thousands can result to millions who feel. My thoughts are everyone has a different way of sleeping and this can not be copied to say that just because millions have tested a pillow or bed, does not mean that is good for me.

I used to sleep on my stomach when I was younger.  I now sleep on my left side and end up sleeping on my back. :) ;D

Sometimes I do lie on my stomach to stretch out...then I end up falling asleep like that. Most of the time, I start off on my back but waking up on my side.

I sleep on my side and my back. I can not not sleep on my stomach. I am to top heavy. Doctor's words.  I went to sleep on my stomach once and threw my back out, ended up going to the doctor he told me to never sleep on my stomach again.

When I was growing up face on my belly was my favorite position, after I gave birth it became more difficult, but recently I have been trying to sleep belly down, it's much harder....my nose get congested, my joints get stiff...but I love that position....

It is rare that I sleep on my stomach. I usually rotate between my left side and my back.
