Adam here. This site seems interesting... but it seems like all the offers I've looked into require me to buy something. For example, I went to SeeYourFreeCreditReport.com, and yet the last question it asked during registration was:

"Why are you purchasing a credit report?"

I am confused If it's free, then why is it asking me why I am buying it?

I just am worried there are all sorts of hidden little fees and tricks going on here... how can I ensure I am not somehow getting charged/billed for my activity on this site?

More importantly, how can I make a post (and not just reply to others)?

It is a 7 day free trial after that they charge you a certain amount (the credit company not fc) you can cancel your membership at anytime to avoid fees.

On the subscription/credit ones its always good to read the TOS , so you can judge for yourself if the fees you may incur by signing up for the service and not canceling is worth the fc pay out amount.
