Next time someone makes you angry, offer them a smile and show that no matter what they do or say, you won't play their game, and maybe the next time they see you it will be with a smile they are offering you.

sorta like killing them with kindness?
if you have the strength to do this, its rather
satisfactory in the end.

...i've tried to do this in recent years and
its definitely worked out for the best.

sometimes though, its so difficult to bite your tongue!

Man, that's so hard to do when that person is someone I care; on the other hand, I wouldn't mind to offer a smile if that's someone I consider not important.

That is something i am finding easier to do the older i get. you start to realize that it's not worth your time/energy/ or, breath getting all bent out of shape over people and their s**t. My husband knows this because so often i offer him the "nod & grin".
