Anxious newb

Hey everyone, I just joined about 10 days ago and am kind of just getting in these paid survey type site. I'm determined to save up money to buy a plane ticket to go see a close friend and since I'm currently unemployed and am terrible at landing a job this was the only option. I gotta say, I've had an alright time so far. It's a rewarding feeling to see that I've gotten almost $20 on here.

I was curious about the paid to call offer. I have phone anxiety so I was kind of nervous about what happens when you call the number and if the number you get is with an actually person or you just listen to an automated machine? Are the advertisers pushy when it comes to getting you to buy their products or is it okay if I'm just curious about they're products?

Out of curiosity, did anyone else join this site with a goal in mind? Mind is kind of maybe out of love and also I'm hoping to move where it's not so darn cold!!! *crosses fingers my luck will change.*

i have had the same thoughts. i don't particularly like to talk to people on the phone so i haven't tried the paid to calls either.  also kinda worried about the fact that they will then have my number and i will start to get stalker telemarketer calls.

Oh I didn't even think about them having my number. Yeah I think I'll just avoid those. I wish they could make it so you can just speak to an agent in a live chat but I guess it depends on the site.

Many offers involve some kind of commitment. The choice is yours as to what offers to accept. As stated, watch the tutorials if you have not already. The tutorials give you an insight into matters of this type. I watched them several times before I started "digging in".

I have never call in to take a survey over the phone so I do not know if you talk to a real person or not.

Honestly I just wanted to try it out and see if it was legit and it definitely is! I just wanted to make extra cash but now that I have a better job I will put this money away in savings for a vacation or something, anything! I love this site! I get so much out of it and it's so easy

i believe its an automated machine talking to you and you answer by pressing number keys as yes or no.

I mainly stick with doing the paid clicks, the contest and I complete the 30 post every month and the money goes slow but its very easy stuff to do.

Yeah I checked out one of the phone offers (I believe it was for a TV service) and I guess I had to talk to someone for 3 minutes. I got super nervous so I backed out as well, haha! I kind of wish they had a pay to call job agency, I would totally call that! It'd be nice to actually get a job that I went to school for *grumble grumble*

Making a call here is really not that difficult. But if you have some concern just think about it as if you are doing something else you have picked up the phone for. Like ordering food from a takeout place. One trick I use is to take notes as the person speaks and to verify the information you get. Just tell the truth and only call for things you might truly want or need. Then you can consider it an information call. Most of the people on the other end are professionals or planning to become more professional so you don't have to worry about them. They really want to talk to people who want what they are selling. Good luck, no need to be afraid they cannot bite you through the phone.

The phone calls are great for those who are interested in the products or services.  I've read posts from many people who are very happy with being paid for these phone calls, especially calls that they wanted to make in the first place.  I, myself, haven't found a call that I'm truly interested in, so I hope that FC will add more options. I wonder how many people are actually influenced by the promoter on the other end of the phone.  One thing's for sure, the promoter can't convert calls into sales unless they GET calls, so we're helping them get prospects!
