Yes it is cold today I have 10 degrees it's to cold for me summer hurry up and get here.

We will get some snow today.  I do like the snow.  I work part time job and every week I am going outside when it is raining and snowing.  Why?

I love winter weather, now, 79f here. I grew up with 4 seasons also. The fall was the shortest but the nicest. Winter was the longest about half of the year.

Solid sheet of ice in western NC today, mid 20's.  Hate ice as both husband and children have jobs that require them to be driving a lot.  Supposed to be in 50s by Monday though if we can just make it through today and tonight.

I grew up where there 2 seasons Sunny and Rainy but I thought before snow is really pretty I always dream that I can lay on and touch it but when I did I change my mind especially its much and turn into ice oh I never like it at all.

Here in Canada we've had temps in the minus 30's(celius) for weeks now. With the wind chill, its in the minus 40's(celius)
Lived here on the farm my whole life, you just learn to grin and bear it. We've had a huge amount of snow, more than knee high already and winter is no where near over. But I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

Sorry to everyone in freezing weather.  Here in central Florida it was 75 degrees today.  
I am originally from Rhode Island, so I know what cold weather is.  I've lived in Florida for 25 years, and could never live in the cold again.  However, I do miss making snow angels and walking at night in the peacefulness of a light falling snow.

It can get pretty chilly here at times.  At this time of year, it's in the 40's or 50's at night.  The lowest is usually in the 30's in February.  We have deep freezes at night that can ruin the orange and strawberry crops.  When I first moved down here, the pipes froze on Christmas day, and it was so cold they had a rolling blackout throughout the day.  That was not easy for cooking a turkey.  It did snow in 1977, just a few flurries.  You are correct about the ocean views.  There's nothing like hearing the waves on the shore at night, to fall asleep.
