Your not old. Enjoy those children and grandchildren. I have an adopted grandson soon to be 18. Lost one of my sons at the age and then the other when was 40. I am so glad i spent and enjoyed them as much as i did. We did everything together until. But i have a beautifun daughter-in-law and love her very much. But she is now engaged after 11 years and i want her to be happy. Will miss her when she moves. But her young man is real nice and we will get too see them from time to time.

Yeah, some days I feel 109 years old and other days I feel like an 18 yr old teenager! Alas, I will never see 50 again, but that's ok as long as the old body holds out. Enjoy your kids and grand kids because life whizzes past and before you know it someone calls you a "senior citizen"......YECCCH!

My mother had 13 kids, nine girls and four boys. I now have 3 daughters, 4 grandaughters, and a grandson on the way. My brother passed away 2 years ago from pancreatic cancer. His birthday would have been 4 days from now.

You started SO young, so you are not old. My first baby is 11 and my baby baby is 7 while I am 40. Enjoy the grandkids because you can keep up with them.

I don't care how old you are, 5 years later you ,look back at that age as being young.  Just enjoy where you are and forget about numbers.  Too much life passes by worrying about things that can't change.

I think our kids birthday's always hit us harder than our own do.  I turned 47 a few months ago, and it didn't bother me in the least.  My son turned 18 last week, and I wanted to cry.

I was 44 when I became a grandmother,  46 when my second granddaughter was born and 48 when my grandson was born.  They are now 9, 8 and 5 respectively.   At 41, you're not old.  I am 54 and feel blessed to still be here, because there are so many of my classmates that have passed on.  Enjoy your grandchildren because they will grow up fast!  :) ;D

I'm 71 and I have a grandson who is  28  and a grandson who is 6 !  Had to wait a long while for the second one, but he's a blessing and a joy.  Love them both.

I agree with everyone else.......... your not old at all  ;)    I was walking out of church Sunday morning and was talking to an (old) man having a birthday and he said its all in your mind. He said there would come a time when the body makes your mind think a little harder but its still up to your mind. Enjoy all of your kids and grand kids.
