I wonder what goodies i could find if i had one. I guess i will just have to keep wondering since i don't have $6,000 for that high tech metal detector

Thanks for posting that. That is huge. I wonder where it came from? It might have washed up on shore some how, in Australia.

Now if I was out in California I would probably pan for Gold, you never know.

I was gonna try that in my area a few years ago. Yes, pan for gold in the Niagara River. I live in Niagara Falls. I thought about it but one of my relatives thought I was crazy.

I was thinking of changes in the water, weather patterns and nobody else looking.

You just don"t know anymore. Then you have this government that would try to claim it.

Man i have seen some stones that big (gems and minerals) even larger but never that big of a lump of gold. He is will be sitting on easy street for awhile. Have a friend inAlaska that found one that weighed 7 lbs. It was sure pretty. I use to do the Gem and mineral rockhound roundup in Seming n.m.. They would bring in so much of it all different things. The show had to be 95% rock, gems and minerals. We had 160 dealers and for a small town we would have between 5 and 6 thousands vistors. It was fun to run but took all year to get ready and do it. Then we would go rock hunting all around the region, never ever found something that exciting though. The only thing i reall miss since we moved except my friends.
