It's been 3 years since my flu shot, but i'm getting 1 soon b/c flu nowaday is really scary.

I don’t have the flu. I don’t believe in getting flu shots and OTC medication because they are not effective. I don’t visit the doctor when I get sick. I rely on following the laws of nature and meditation to do the healing. Your fever is nature’s emergency response of burning up excess toxins in your body.

I had a real bad infection but not the flu. I just hate being sick period.

We fortunately have not but my brother has had a severe case that seems to just hang on.  Know several others who have had the flu.  I work in the medical industry and flu is definitely prevalent this year.

If I had a cold or some type of virus, I would try this or another type natural remedy like Nettle Tea.  Just try to keep your immune system up by eating right; and washing your hands often, especially when you're coming in the house from being out.  Be sure to sanitize surfaces and doorknobs if there is a sick person in the household as well.

I had the stomach flu 2 weeks ago, I haven't had it in literally 6 years and then out of the blue I started feeling sick. I was up all night getting sick, but never had a fever. I went to the urgent care by my house & they confirmed that I definitely had the stomach flu. It lasted about 3 days and I'm so glad it's gone!
My mom on the other hand has a terrible cold that won't go away, she has absolutely no energy. I'm trying to get her to see a doctor, but she's so hard headed so we'll see.

All my kids were home from school today with some sort of stomach flu. I emailed their teachers and my son's teacher said 7 students were out of class today because of it, both teachers had it over the weekend, and four kids were out last week because of it.

My hubby got the stomach virus but I was lucky. We both got flu shots for protection against most of the varieties of influenza out there.

Everyone in my office has been sick or is sick so I am trying to do anything I can so I don't get sick too

Haven't gotten it yet, and don't plan on it! I'm washing my hands like crazy and pumping myself with vitamins. In all the years I can remember a flu epidemic, I can't remember actually ever contracting it. Guess I'm just lucky!

I don't think I have the flu, but I have had a really terrible cold for almost a week. Seems like everyone is sick right now.

No, I haven't gotten the flu. I had a flu shot in early December of last year and always get one as soon as Flu Season starts. My husband has been sick for 2 weeks, and I'm driving myself crazy disinfecting the house almost everyday so my son and I don't get sick!! I've washed my hands so much that my hands are really dry and I have to wear moisturizer gloves on at night! Haha!!  
I try to stay in the house and only take my son places he has to go when the flu is going around. We carry hand sanitizer too where ever we go.

I thought I was getting the flu, but luckily I went to the doctor and it was just allergies.  I had a flu shot this year for the first time in about 15 years.  The stomach flu is not the flu that they are worried about, 24 hours and you are feeling better.  The other flu is bad for a week to 10 days, and then you are really wiped out for a couple of more weeks getting your strength back.  SUPPOSEDLY if you have gotten the flu shot if you do get it, it will be a very mild case.     We are also sanitizing at the house, door knobs, computer keyboards.  Washing our hands and carrying around the hand sanitizers to use frequently.

OMG I'm so terrified of the flu.  And once I found out the flu vaccine isn't 100% effective, I became even more scared!!
