Buying a home

Are you going to buy a home this year.  Just wondering?  Yes or no will suffice

I sold on in August of 2012 and bought one in October of 2012.  I hope to stay here for a long time.

I am wondering if I can buy a home, with reverse mortgage. Pay the owner to sell me the home and I can pay him what the reverse mortgage would pay me. So he gets his payment, and I get the home hummmmm. Just wondering how it would work, every one wins no?

If I understand you correctly, I don't think so.  This is what I found:  You must live in a home that is owned free and clear or have a remaining mortgage balance that can be paid off by the reverse mortgage. For example, if you owe $100,000 on a mortgage or home equity loan, you would have to qualify for at least $100,000 and use it to pay off this debt at closing.

Nope, I would never be able to buy a home this year or any year if I continue working as a courtesy clerk. I rather build myself a nice log cabin anyways :)
