I really don't use that many stamps, so thankfully it doesn't affect me much!

I'm probably saving loads by sending emails and paying bills online instead. Gotta love the Internet!

I plan to buy another book of Forever stamps.  I have 6 left because I mail approximately 3 to 4 letters a month and my husband mails a letter a week.  They are supposed to go up this month anyway so it is something that happens every year. :) ;D

I'm losing track with all the rate increases. I had to pause for a second how much stamps are nowadays as I do so many things electronic now and when there is something to ship I usually get this metered. Forever stamps are still in my supply, so I should be fine for the most part.

Went to the Post office the other day and was given a sheet of the new rate increases taking place on Jan. 27, looks like the Priority Stuff mail is going up approx 30-60 cents each.

I wouldn't mind the increases so much, except that it seems like their service is getting worse and worse! If they raise the price they should at least give us better services. From what I've read, even their guaranteed services aren't guaranteed!

It seems every year the USPS has a postage rate increase.  Almost every postage stamp they issue anymore are 1st class forever stamps.  The Forever Stamps is the best move that the USPS has made in years.  The Forever Stamps are good for the USPS as well as it's customers.  I still have several bills that go out by mail so I am affected but I am fortunate that I don't have that many.  I can normally make a book of forever stamps last 2 months.   :peace:

Gee, an extra penny to send a letter. The nerve of the government.
