  Am not sure what happen and why? I took out the battery from my phone to put in the fully charged battery and when i turn it on, it kept restarting? I finally just restore and backup my data. I am just glad i knew about the restore and backup feature..

I have yet to find a  phone that doesn't do some crazy thing that has lost some of my most precious info/pics/numbers...etc! This of course is how I also learned (thank goodness) how to back up or store on my memory card (the name of it has left my mind lol) I know there are other things that can't be saved so I am sure to email myself what I want to keep so I don't take a chance in losing! I currently have the Samsung S2, I'm not gonna lie though it has made life a bit easier though the issues I have with it ;-)

I had samsung blaze, it did alot of crazy stuff, like freezing and all, they told us that you have to take the battery out once a week and turn it on and off every so often to keep it working good.

When I first got my Blackberry Torch, it was right before vacation which is not a good time to learn a new product.  While traveling, it locked up on me; and I was afraid to pry very hard to take out the battery and called customer service to reset it.  The rep was very helpful with the reset but I did have to re-enter my contact list.  I would make the following recommendations to anyone purchasing a new or different smartphone:

1. Purchase and learn to use your phone well before taking a trip-- there is always a learning curve.
2. Removing and re-inserting the battery is the safest way to cure a lock-up; if the manufacturer says to do it, you are not going to break anything.
3. Make use of customer service--they are patient and can talk you through procedures to solve problems.
