does anyone use checks anymore?

I average 1 or 2 checks a month!  I always run out of deposit slips long before I run out of checks!

No, checks.  I pay my bills online and I also use debit/credit cards. 

Occasionally, I'll buy a money order if that's my only option in a specific situation.

I pay my bills with checks, but that's really it.  Normally I just use cash or my credit card on occasion.

Yes we still use checks.

We use them every month to pay our rent, electric bill and phone/internet bill. For other purchases we use a debit card and I pay with a credit card for my online purchases. We rarely use cash. We also use money orders too.

only when I am in a hurry, then someone in front of me, usually an older lady will be writing a check who can't see...ha ha, always happens, never fails, too funny.

I do, but not as much anymore. I pay most bills online. I don't use a debit card.

I just pay my light bill with check and every once and a while I will wright a check when I get my hair fixed.  I use my debit card just about most everything.  Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I write checks out to my church and I write a check for our City bill.  Other than that, I pay online or use my debit card.

That's kinda funny.  When we moved into this place back in May we gave the landlord money orders.  Than come our first months rent we dropped a check in the mail.  The next time we spoke with him he says to us, "I don't accept checks" and it says that in the lease."  Funny thing is we've never signed a lease.  It's rather frustrating.  However except for him and an occasional medical bill I hardly ever use my checkbook anymore either.

I still write some checks but most of the time I don't write checks.  I will write about 5 or 6 checks a month but only on things that I want a paper trail with.  I use my debt card alot because the back that I use gives you .10 for using your debt card not writing checks.  This works out well for me because I get a credit every month so it is like saving or earning a little extra cash each month.  I still like to write some checks for a couple of reasons I like to have a trail for somethings that I pay.  but also I don't want to forget how so that if it ever came a  time when I could not use my debet card I still would be able to write a check.  My son is also learning how to use a check also because if you want to work for some businesses or just for knowledge it is a good idea.

I don't write checks at all anymore--I only cash the ones I get!  I use cash or my debit card to pay for everything.  Plus I really hate balancing a checkbook and was really bad at it.  Bounced check fees these days are huge!!!!

I use checks and credit cards; I really feel that debit cards present a potential security risk and do not use them.  At least with credit cards you are not liable for fraudulent activity by an unauthorized party if you report it and I screen my statements carefully.  If postage keeps going up, I may have to do more online bill-paying.

We write out checks for most of our bills including our mortgage. And because our accounts are at a Credit union we always have deposit slips available to us so that isn't a problem.
