There is too much bad language in movies. Can't these writers come up with something more creative. :angry7:
No, because bad language sells, Sex sells, Violence sells, its undeniably true. Hollywood wouldn't exist if it didn't evolve. I think you should just watch other movies if it offends you so much.....

I don't know what's going on. These days bad language becomes a norm in this society. People use bad language everywhere. Children curse at school. adults curse at churches. People curse on the street. Bad language is everywhere!! it is becoming a norm.

It already is a norm.

If everyone's doing it and it's being advertised then it's not "bad" anymore

My husband and I use to watch a lot of TV together but now we only watch sports together because I got tired of ever other word being "beep" out.  I feel there is a proper time and place for it but I don't want to watch it everyday.

Bad language seems to be contagious when you hear it too often so the more we hear it the more we say it and movies has a big part of it.

its not just in movies anymore.  you cant go out in public without hearing swear words these days.  it used to really bother me, but now i'm at the point i just overlook it and go on.

I think we hear it so much everywhere that we don't "hear" it much anymore and that's why they are using it more...

A good script is authentic.  If the character would cuss in real life then replacing it with "frick" or "darn" takes away from the authenticity.  People use "bad" language in real life.  Sometimes no other word fits better or is more apt than the "F" word.

If people want the movies to change for the better THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY - BOYCOTT EVERY FILM THAT USES BAD LANGUAGE, OR TOO MUCH SEX OR WHATEVER IT IS that is DISTASTEFUL.  If everyone would do this HOLLYWOOD WOULD GET THE MESSAGE REAL FAST CAUSE THEY WOULDN'T BE MAKING ALL THAT MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are so many times that the curse words are just needed.  Quite a few movies that just ruin a perfectly good movie with a bunch of foul language.

I just want waste my money or time on them. It is bad enough to go to a high school game and hear so much of it out of the teenagers. I hope they don't talk that way at home. At times you can not even go into a restaurant where teens are and enjoy a meal. If i were a manager i would ask them to leave. And have done so.  Our world is so messed up right not with all this stuff.

Yeah, the problem is, that sometimes you have to go and see the movie, before you can boycott it. By then you paid your money and they don't care. I guess you hope the ratings improve

I actually think all the bad language in the movies actually degrade it.  It just turns me off, so it gets turned off!
