cash or debit/credit

Normally used a debit card but read an interesting article that while most of us know people on average spend more when using credit, study also found increased spending with debit card even though it is coming straight from bank account.  Past month have used cash only, no cards, debit or credit, for groceries and actually did spend less.  Knowing that I only had X amount of money with me and no backup makes you think twice about unplanned or unnecessary purchases.

I basically just use my credit card. There are a few circumstances when I will use cash.

I always use cash and i save the coin change for later. It always add up.

I use my debit card most of the time. I don't like to carry to much cash with me.

I like to use debit card than cash. Paying cash you will have lots of change and I dont bring purse all the time.

I like using my debit card more so I don't have to get change with every purchase plus sometimes I get cashback too!

Debit is always best for me! If I have cash, I see that as an excuse to buy a bunch more little things on a constant basis.

"It's only a few dollars and I have the cash, so I'll just buy it!"

With debit I'm less inclined to do so because I feel kind of silly going through the process of using the card for several small purchases!

I use my debit card a lot but watch how much I spend. I always know what is in my account. I want to try using just cash though.

I prefer to use my debit card since I normally don't carry any money on me. I should start carrying some money so that way I won't get charged any fees whenever I use my debit card at a gas station or atm machine.

I am obsessively careful about my bank balance. So I always feel safe using my debit card whereever I go. I rarely carry cash on me. I don't want to lose any due to a mugging, and I don't want to be hounded by panhandlers. You can truthfully tell them you dont carry cash anymore.

I prefer to use my debit card because I feel safer but I keep some money on hand for going to the movies and stuff like that.

I prefer my debit card. Carrying cash these days is unsafe. I just don't like how some places, especially gas stations, charge different amounts for using a debit/credit card. It's bogus!
