It would be a blessing and completely scary all at once.....The money would be nice to give to my church, pay off bills, get my kids through college...but then I will have the crazy family members coming out from nowhere!!!

I would think a bit before I told anyone anything. Then, I would decide who I wanted to share it with and divide it up when I signed up for it. Then, depending on how much it was, I would pay off my mortgage, start a business or two that would supply jobs for young people in my area or others who have a hard time finding work. And the I would vacation a bit.

I'd definitely keep working, not as hard as I do now, though. I'd have my own schedule, I'll be working on what I love or enjoy doing. I probably wouldn't go public, and would choose wisely who and how to share the money with. I'd definitely hire an attorney and an accountant/financial advisor. I'd like to travel and know places. I'd keep it low profile and wouldn't go overboard or fancy. Nicer house but not Hollywood or Beverly Hills style, definitely not a mansion. I'd do my best to invest wisely and would get myself informed about everything related to managing money. I would secure selected family member's futures. So many things to do, but the most important of all, NOT, and I repeat, NOT be one of those 70%+ people who go broke after winning the lottery, hahaha. Can you imagine more than 70% of lottery winners go broke, and than half of those 70% do so in less than 5 years? that's astonishing.

Depending on how much I would win, I would pay all my bills, gey a big house, new car, give money to my family and close friends.  I love animals and would give to rescues to help homeless animals.  But I don't think that will ever happen, if there were only 2 tickets sold, I guarantee I would have the losing ticket!!  :BangHead: :BangHead:

I would complete my schooling, become debt free and buy a double-wide trailer.  I would make sure my daughter get a piece of my winnings.  I
would change a lot because my enemies and people I have already cut out of my life would suddenly become my best friend.  I would want to live a modest life; after all, I have lived as a poor person all my life.  Otherwise, the options are endless. :) ;D :angel12:

If I won a lot of money I would quit work as i am already 71 years old.  I have worked ever since I got out of school.  I retired from my job 10 years ago but could not live on SS so I went to work at Walmart a year later as a people greeter.  I am still there after 8 1/2 years.  I like my job very much but it is time to rest and enjoy life now.  But no money is keep me working.  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

(1) get advise from my lawyer, (2) divide between us and my daughter(3) remodle our house and my dads(4) payoff my brothers farm.
(5 go on vacation. Live off the interest and most of all tithe to the church i go to and another one where i spent a lot of my childhood and the
one my grandfather sonated the land for and helped build even though they only have services once a month from visiting pastors. Put the rest in some trust funds. Then if there is enough move and buy a mountain retreat. Then keep on giving . I would love to be able to go into a restaurant or grocery store and buy the meal or groceries for military familes.

If I played the lotery I would of course collect my winnings than pay the taxes on it.  After that I would pay the loan on my house so I could own it, than I would help my parents and son.  I would donate a portion to some kind of foundation.  I would catch up on my bills and put the rest in a cd or something so it could draw interest.  Owe I would alos get my sister her own car that runs.

If I won the lottery. First I would of course claim my money. Then, I would speak to a financial advisor. Next, I would determine which family and friends will get a cut, and how I should invest my money. I would buy a nicer house and car (not too fancy). Would I still work at my job? Yes... I will get bored if I am not working, but I will still try to open up some my own business.

I agree with a lot of what you said except I wouldn't keep working full time if I already was. I would retire or work part time and travel. I would also do some things I hadn't got the chance to do before like buy some things I wanted and go some places (ie sports games) I hadn't gone before.

Based on the guy that won 1 million on a scratch off and was poisoned the next day and died, I don't think I would tell anyone.  How sad to finally have a dream come true only to be murdered the next day.  I hope they find out who did it, but it sounds like it was probably his wife.

That's terrible!  :crybaby2: I wish the best for his family and I hope they catch whomever did this to him.

I would have to buy a ticket first so I feel sure I won't win.
