I've sewn some bed spreads, table cloths and curtains. Then there's the hemming of towels when they fray. Not very exciting, I know, but I've tried my hand at making clothing and that was disastrous!!

I have sewn my out kitchen curtains. I've quilted my own quilt for our bed.  I have also done counted cross-stitch.

One of these days i will be making new curtains for the house, as soon as we get through putting the new windows in and then the painting plus the trip. You just can't find them in the colors you want. I also do a lot of other sewing, crafts and taking up the hems on my fathers pants. He only has a 24" inseam and boy it can get tiring, because he usuall will have about a dozen or so. I only do it every other year.

I really like to sew.  I haven't made anything for the home yet but that is a good idea.  Maybe I will make some pillow cases.

I have had my sewing machine for a few years now. I have made shorts for myself. I have made pillows and curtains and a few other things. I sew my sons clothing mistakes when they start coming apart. I used to hem pants for my father and fix his buttons when they fell off his work shirts. I been sewing since I was 7 yrs old. I use to sew my Barbies clothing and make outfits for them. My babydolls also. I even made clothing for my cabbage patch dolls. Sewing is a hobby of mines and I enjoy it and it also relaxes me. My mom taught me to crochet when I was 9 so I do that also sometimes. Lately I have been doing patchwork from some of my sons baby blankets that I could not part with. Im making him a blanket of memories maybe one day he can give to his child.
