How did everyone bring in the new year? I didn't do anything special, just stayed home and watched some television.

We visited a friend of husband's. First time going to his house. Spent about 3 hours there...met much of his family. Had a nice time. Home by 6:00 pm. Watched a movie and asleep by 10:30 pm. We never make it till midnight...but that's okay. Happy New Year everyone!   :cat:

Happy New Year to everyone at Fusion Cash

We had dinner at home .. beef spare ribs ... hmmmm good -- went out to visit
with friends but back home by 11 to bring in the New Year.

Nice and quiet just the way I like it.

Happy New Year! We went out and did somethings early in the day. We decided to stay home, we had a nice meal
and a movie!

My husband and I rang in the new year asleep.  I've found that it's much nicer to wake up in the new year without a hang-over and we prefer not to be out in the cold trying to have fun when we can be home and happy and warm :)

Hi,

Happy New Year 2013  :) :) I brought in the new year by just sitting at home and watching dvd's of the former tv series "Hercules" and "Xena, Warrior Princess" with some family and friends. We, also, had hotdogs, chips, and beer. It was fun. As the New year got closer and the clock reached 12 o'clock we all screamed "Happy New Year" and gave each other hugs and a kiss . It was nice and it brought  my family members closer. Bonding during the holidays
is a must, I feel, for everyone.

@Xenagirl92 That sounds great! I haven't watched those shows in ages!

As I was watching t.v. and fiddling around with my computer and such, I completely missed the midnight mark. I think it was about 12:30 when I realised it was already January 1st. Lol Sounds like you all enjoyed yourselves, I kinda like the more relaxed celebrations too. Definitely agree with Kay7, I'd much rather not be freezing or hung over either!

We didn't get a chance to go to watch night service and hear our elder preach at his request due to illness. So we prayed as the new year came in and I watched the ball drop. For a while we laid on the floor during the shooting. I also watched a Mavs finals game.
