i cannot wait for that day cause i have a lot to do on that day.

We can't get our paperwork in order to do our 2012 taxes soon enough. I don't think that we will have as big of a return as we've had in the past, but a return is a return none the less and it is exciting for us.

What I really can't wait for though is to get the stuff from the car accident that the children and I were involved in during the summer taken care of so that we are able to settle on that.

I don't get it, most people dread the tax time season & hate it with a passion that they end up filing theirs late! Also, i recall filing my stuff in April last year. Why all of a sudden it's January after new years! i'm cluess a/o this stuff!

I don't look forward to tax season because I usually end of owing the government money. This year will probably be the same. Wish I was getting money back.

OK can you explain a little better why you are looking forward to January 15th. . .  seriously. I opened and read the topic because I would love to have a better attitude about it  . . .  really.  Looking forward to taxes filings etc.  NOT.     I was all relaxed and now I am already stressing here we go again . . .and this year will not be as bad as the past pulling records together . . . I don't think.  Try to be organized but life happens and it always gets . . . interesting so to speak.
So please spread some inspiration  . . . I will take any that I can get! LOL  LOL

I can't wait for that day, however I will have to wait on all the documents to give to my tax preparer. However with the fiscal cliff going on we might have to pay more taxes.. Not good

Jan. 15th is an insignificant date as far as taxes goes. You almost certainly won't have all the documents you will need to prepare your taxes either.
