What was the worst Holiday gift received in 2012

I received a holiday card, signed by someone other than the person who gave me the gift.  Even on the Starbuck gift card had the other person's name on it.  WOW, does the saying "It's the thought that counts"?  Now I love Starbucks so it will be used today!! 

  My mom wrapped the gifts and put the wrong names on them, so my sister got my brothers remote control truck and pj's....

I got a gift card to ihop - the person that gave it to me talks about how they always have a bad experience there... I guess they want me to have a bad experience too.

That is sort of funny, but you need to see the Seinfeld episode about re-gifting and the rules about doing that. One of the rules I think had something to do with making sure that you removed the gift tag that had been made out to you. I once received a gift from a friend who I had just met through another friend around the holidays and they had a gathering and presented gifts to everyone who was there. The gift I received was an interesting holiday candle shaped like a snowman with sort of tacky glitter on it and it looked dusty to me so it wasn't really bright white. Well on the bottom was a tag and the names of previous recipients were still there just crossed through, like they were a note to the giver to remind them who it was intended for, but the last name was the person from whom I had received it so it had been around for a while and had put on a good bit of mileage by the time I received it. All I could do was laugh after I got it home. Of course I never told my introducing friend and to this day I just comment on how much I enjoyed it to the party who gave it to me.

I didn't get anything that was bad this year. I was nice. Not bad use the Starbucks card. LOL
