Anyone tried the Santoku Cooking Knife offer?
« on: December 24, 2012, 07:58:33 am »
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone tried the Santoku Cooking Knife offer. I really need a good knife right now and I wanted to make sure that everyone else is getting credited for it with no problem.  ;) Thanks!

I ordered it from another survey website, and it is a good knife.  I only wanted the knife so I had to remember to cancel the rest of the offer.

I've been thinking about the Santoku Knife offer but haven't ordered it yet.  I was kind of hoping to find out if the credit comes thru or not.

It appears to be from the same company that offered the ceramic skillet.  I haven't done it yet, as I have several santoku knives already, but if it's like the other one, it credits almost immediately and you don't have to purchase anything else in the future.

Same here, don't really need the knife but especially don't want to buy if I won't get credited.

Yes, it is extremely easy to cancel.  You don't even talk to a person, everything is automated.  It gives you step by step instructions, just enter the zip code, last 4 digits of the credit card you used to purchase, and select a number out of the reasons they give you for cancelling.   The message then goes on to tell you what to do should you accidentally get another shipment before the cancellation is processed.  This was for the skillet, which apparently is the same company, so assume the cancellation process for the knife would be the same.  The offer for the skillet did credit quickly and the skillet itself came in a timely manner so I would expect the knife offer to be the same.

Me too. I plan on canceling anything else that comes with it.

Awesome, I recently did the Stamps.com offer and it took a few tries to cancel. I mean, the customer representative tried repeatedly to extend my free trial, but I stayed "aggressive" and he cancelled it for me.
