Paying for my EX wife daycare
« on: December 14, 2012, 07:26:55 pm »
:dontknow: I dont know how much ppl would agree or disagree? I sometimes give and help my ex wife with our 3 yr when she cant pay the daycare.. I however never ask and take anything from her when it come to our other kids that I have custody of, 2 of our kids. I always pay for daycare when our kids that live with me and ofcourse any and everything else when it come to my kids.!
Now I am starting to feel like a sucker :BangHead:.. Everytime i hear her tell me she have to go out of town or getting her hair fix, etc, etc..I do the same when it come to our kids, fix there hair, buy gel, shampoo etc..but again, i keep getting ask for money? Again and again.. :dontknow:

is there any child support orders in place? I know a lot of woment would say that a father needs to do whatever it takes to take care of their kids but with you having custody of 2 and she with one, sounds like she needs to step up a little more on her end. Not to pry, but is she asking you for money about the same time every month or so??? If there is no support order in place maybe you should get an agreement in place.

I wish there were more men out there that helped pay for the extra kids there kids need.  My children's father hasn't paid his 1/2 of anything extra (Which is a court order in 5 years) After several rules to show cause and orders 2 additional orders placed to reinforce this he still doesn't reimburse me.  This causes for a sticky discussion when all 3 of my kids live with me and my current husband and he's the one helping pay for there things.  I say Kudo's to you .. if you for helping her and how selfish of her if she's using you're open hand as a crutch for her to get her nails and hair done.

Take comfort in the fact that you ARE DOING THIS FOR YOUR KIDS!!!  They will remember.

I think it depends a lot onb the relationship you have and the differences in your financial situaton. I would monitor the money to make sure it gets paid out in the right ways. I would then discuss plans for making sure things are paid evenly between you both. Both of you should be paying for all three children together regardless of who has custody if possible. There are so many factors in matters like this that can affect what should be done in this type of situation.
Lord Jesus Christ is the only way for eternal salvation from sins. Jesus loves you.

Have her pay for 2 kids daycare a few times and I bet she won't ask for anymore for just the one.  Fair is fair!

I think you need to have a heart to heart with her, if you have custody of 2 and she 1, then you should not pay more than what a court order might have said.  If she cannot afford to take care of the 1 then you keep it and cancel any support you might give her.  But if you feel that you are doing the right thing then go for it, this is a decision that you and only you can make.

You need to get help from some one on this. If she is not helping you with 2 then you should only be paying what the courts ordered for the 1 and then if there is anything else that YIU want to pay for the do it out of the goodness of your heart instead of her greedy hands. I commend you for standing up as a father and taking care of them.

I have mixed emoptions about this subject.  I was a single parent with no support at all from father and my son is now paying child support.  He gives her half of his salary a month . He does not mind it is his daughter but she buys big screen tv's, new I phone, gaming system for her other children, work out equipment etc.   I think there should be a way that the money has to be speciafically applied to the care of the child that is 3 yrs old.  Just a thought.
