I am fortunate in that I still have immediate members of my family; however, I miss every beloved pet I've ever had the opportunity to experience.  The spiritual connection and unconditional love was priceless!

There are quite a few that passed away in the last few years and before:
My Dad, who made me the person I am today- Thanks Dad
My sister, who died too young, I wish you could see your grandkids
My Mom, Whom I'll admit we never got along, I still loved her!!
My Mother in law - who always made me feel as one of the family
My Brother in law - who I know is riding his motorcycle up in Heaven
My Cousin, who was not just a family member but, a great Friend.

I miss so many members of my family who loved Christmas and made it so special.  My Grandmother, both Grandfathers, my Great-Grandma and my Aunt are greatly missed this time of year.  I always try to keep all the traditions they made in order to remember them.  I hope all of you have ways to continue to feel close to those you have lost.

What a lovely thought.  I too have those I miss regularly - 1. My daughter, 1970-1997; My son, 1972-2001; my spouse 1937-1995; my dad 1921-1983; and many others - Wishing them all a blessed Christmas and praying they are all together once more!!
