What realistic thing are you most scared of?

Needles or getting shots, I always had nightmares about them as a child. Also being under water, since I pretty much drowned last year  :-

I would say being alone. I mean not having any family or friends around to depend on. Not having anyone to laugh with, talk with or even share a special moment and memory with.

Heights, spiders, and enclosed spaces.  I don't even like to go on an elevator!  I'd rather walk up several flights of stairs instead of being stuck on an elevator.  I feel like such a wimp about the spiders, too   Even the tiny ones drive me nuts! 
One other thing right now is I'm afraid of losing my job!  Look around us-this economy is crazy.

I almost drowned when I was young, so I am pretty scared of the ocean.  It's not the ocean itself, but rather the breaking point and rip currents.  I can go out and swim but only when someone else is out there with me.  I can't stand trying to pass the breakers whether I'm going out or coming back into shore.

I am scared of deep water unless its a swimming pool. I almost drowned as well when i was younger.

i have hypochondria...im always horrified that something is wrong with me, and im scared of going to the dr. every time i dont feel good i start freaking out & think im dying or i have cancer or something. i just got some good anxiety medication though and it seems to be working other than that i HATE wolf spiders...i like other spiders, and scorpions, but the big, ugly wolf spider really freaks me out.

I am terrified of bees, to the point of freaking out when they come near me, which I know is ridiculous, but...

That condition where you go in for surgery, and they put you under with anesthetic, but you aren't really under, and aren't really numb, just paralyzed and aware of everything that's going on.

That would suck.

I have many fears, right now my biggest fear is waking up to my doorbell ringing with a military person and a chaplain on the other side, My children are about to start school and that makes all kinds of fears come to the surface, and i have a huge fear of things that fly and sting you, if i even see a wasp i take off running or i use a whole can of spray to kill one.
