good for you!

i'm glad you're not unemployed, whining about how there are
"no jobs."

there are ALWAYS jobs to be had. getting people off their high
horse long enough to get your hands dirty is the real issue.

Congratulations on you job!  Many people are now realizing sometimes you have to do what it takes to survive right now and you have to do this without having pride about what you have to do to survive.

I used to work at McDonalds, it was ok. And you're right at least it is money.

Just remember: almost all jobs serve a purpose!

I've not heard much about working at McDonalds but I also haven't heard anything bad about it either.  In fact one of the managers I worked with at Wal-mart quit after 10+ years to work for McDonalds.  As long as they treat you good.  You're bringing money home to the table than way to go.  Way to be proactive.  I agree with the comment about at least your not sitting around whining about no work...there is work...we just can't be so selective...and who knows maybe you'll climb up McDonalds corporate ladder and end up in there commercials or something someday.  I know a guy that happened to.

I am in the same boat. I started working at Burger King last week. I graduated for Medical Administration, but its so hard to find a job I took this one until then. I used to work at McDonalds. I loved it. It was likely the best job I ever had. If it paid more I probably would have stayed there.

Better to have a job than not have a job.  It'll be useful as a reference for future jobs anyway as long as nothing goes wrong.
