I love the smell of live Christmas trees, but don't like all the mess.  I live alone so it is difficult for me to get the tree and then dispose of it at the end of the season because where I live they will not pick up the trees at the end of the season.

I would love to have a real Christmas Tree, but I like to put our Christmas Trees up early, so instead we go with a fake tree, and then go to Walmart, or like a Home Depot and buy the fragrance sticks that hang on the tree, they come in different smelling trees, so it makes it smell like a real one in the house.

:) Why not do both. the tree in the Christmas lot is going to wind up on the curb one way or another.

We always cut down our Christmas tree.  My sister used a live tree several years ago and then planted it her yard.  It's lots of fun cutting them down at a Christmas Tree farm and they seem to last longer than one you get that's already been cut.

I love a real tree also but hate the waste of them. You can use the one the pot this year but it will probably need to be planted outside to really "grow.'
I think it is a great idea and not against the rules of Christmas.

Is it true that Christians were supposed to be not for Christmas trees? Just curious.
