I would rather give than receive, and I have been on both ends also. When I was younger our house burned down and everyone gave to us at our time of need. I like to try to help out people who have been effected by tragedy or natural disasters.

It is always better to give because God said I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

I liker to give. I have been blessed to have everything i want, but at my age i don't need a lot and havebeen really giving items i have and others need away. The older i get the less i want also. A lot of what i have may have only been used once. Recieved as gift so pass it on.

I like to give because when I give; I give with all my heart. If someone is going to give a gift, it has be from the heart and the gift must be meaningful. That's why I like to give more than I receive.

I like to give. I enjoy the expression on the receiver's face when they get something they really like

yes, There is much more satisfaction in gving than receiving. I'm not sure why  that is, but once you start giving, you will continue.

Well of course I like both...
But it really makes me smile when I give someone the perfect gift. Seeing them light up makes my day.

Ditto the previous post: it's a gas when you give a present to someone that they REALLY like and keep and use for a long time.

Everyone likes to receive, but there is something special about giving. I love to give and witness the joy that it brings to others.

I love giving!!!!! It's so fun to get super creative and buy someone something you would think they want based on the things they love and they love and never expected it :-)

I really enjoy giving! It is very important to me to give something that makes people on the receiving end happy. I would much rather give than to receive!
