Got lost at nights?
« on: November 30, 2012, 04:45:40 pm »
Last night when I went out, there was an accident and cops blocked the road. No choice but had to turn to a road I had no clue and got lost!!
I got panic and was drinking for 30-40 mins till I found my way.
Really think I should get a GPS!! :(

Over Thanksgiving,
I took the long route, by accident, but I was never truly lost.

Did you really mean to say you were "drinking" for 30-40 mins till you found your way?  I don't know how that would help you find your way, but it might take away some of the panic.

Ehh, always remember that you can just go back the way you came.  A GPS is useful, but you don't need one.  I have one built into my phone and haven't used it ever.  Then again, it could be because I have multiple ways to get to my destinations and haven't ran into a time when all of them weren't available.

I had a similar experience recently when I missed my train home.  Luckily there was one more later.  Whew, would hate to get stuck over night.    :(

That's a scary situation I've been in countless times. That's why I bought a smartphone so I could use the GPS. It's my lifesaver; I have no sense of direction.  :BangHead:

I'm lost without my GPS... don't leave home without it!
