Hey FC Friends Reaching Out For Some Suggestions?

I have no idea what to get my father and father-in-law,they are both retired ,my father-in-law has skin cancer so colognes and lotions are out he likes tractors and computer and square dancing but has just about everyone they ever put out,my father only wears old spice but everyone else bought him that he likes redskins and budweiser beer mugs but that is what everyone else buys him and i have bought him a hat every year for the last 4 years,Any input would be appreciated ,thank you

make him something special, or find him an old sign or poster with tractor advertizing on it...ebay  is a great place to start but etsy may have something as well as ruby lane

What are his interests?  Does he like to read? Does he have a favourite movie, or movies, or tv series you could get him on dvd?

You may consider getting some old pictures of them when they were younger and arranging them in a frame or put them in a scrap book or picture album. Ask some of their friends for a note, or a picture of them that they may have. You still have time to even write to some relatives that are out of town and ask for pictures. Better than that you have the computer, see what you can find and you will make them very happy.

I put a bunch of family pics in a frame for my mother's birthday. I made my brother calendars for a couple of years with family pictures on them. I ran out of pictures for this year. Do they listen to music? Maybe they would like cds with some old songs.

My dad has everything except a picture of hubby and me. He gets that this year. Also made up some quite gift cards to give him with things he lkes to do that we will take him to. He loves to fish and hunt. We also will buy his hunting lic. for him. Have for 15 years. Now i think he really expects it. Alas they did not draw out this year and he was dissapointed, but that is the way it is.

For either, I'd say a pocket knife, especially a multi-tool.  You can try to find some John Deer licensed products such as a coffee or beer mug for your father-in-law.  For your father, you can buy Redskins memorabilia.  The good thing about sports teams are there's so much licensed memorabilia to buy.  My father is close to retirement age, and I can never go wrong with sports memorabilia, a pocket knife, fishing lures, a watch, or tools.
