All I can say is most people (sadly) think they need to follow the movie stars and pick out of the left names for their children.  My question is, how do they think the kids are gonna feel when they start going to school and others start ridiculing them for their "strange" names.  Parents need to think about those things before they choose weird names for their kids.

I have no idea, but I have noticed that MOST (not all) parents with common or popular names are the ones most likely to name their kids "weird" names.  Parents with uncommon names don't do that, they know how it feels having to repeat or spell your name always

I know.  My stupid (sorry) sister says she was drinking Jack Daniels when she got pregnant, so now my niece is Jaclyn Danielle.  I told her that's nice for her to live with.

I think that some adults name their kids weird names because they believe their children are unique.  So what is more befitting a unique child than an unusual or weird name.
