Funeral Service

Is there any Funeral Home that does funeral Service for people Black and white.

Uh, yeah.  However, I have lived in the South most of my life and I can almost understand why someone might ask this question.  The truth is that around here the funeral homes still seem to be segregated.  If you are black and you die it is assumed that your family will call one of the black owned funeral homes to handle the services.  If you are white, it is assumed that your family will call the white owned funeral home.  I never really thought about it much until I read your question.  It is just the way it is done here.  I know in bigger cities it would not be that way.

That seemed like a strange question to me - until I read the response from the south.  I grew up in the north so never thought about there needing to be different funeral homes for different races

Now this is a very good question.... I never really thought about it!  I, too, have lived in the South all my life.  I thought all funeral homes were segregated?  It is sad but true; at least in southern small towns.  Maybe the larger cities are different.....

My family is both black and white and we use the same one for everyone so this question seems pointless to me.

I live in "the north".  I never would have imagined that funeral homes would be segregated. 
My family is both black and white.  We have not had to cross this bridge yet as to what funeral home.

Our funeral home does not care what race you are, They treat every funeral  as if it were one of their own. Lord knows i have used them enough. Would not go to anyone else.
