Well, I have had a turkey for Thanksgiving every year of my life but it wouldn't really matter.  Personally at 59 or 69 cents a pound (what it was in our area this year) it seems like turkey is actually inexpensive although they are usually large.  Anyway my point really is it wouldn't matter to me.

I don't turkey is required or anything it's just something that many include in a Thanksgiving dinner. i believe that the important part of the holiday is to be among your family, friends, and loved ones. It is a friendly gathering of close people. I personally enjoy other food at parties and dinners rather than the turkey.  :)

Turkey is too big for a family of 2, I think we will skip Turkey next year.

Tofurkey (a vegetarian turkey made from tofu base) is pretty tasty, and not very expensive.

I am not a huge turkey fan, but I do like the tradition of having it, and many other things, on Thanksgiving day.

For Thanksgiving, I thanked God for all my blessings and then ate whatever was in the Fridge.  I didn't attempt to cook anything for Thanksgiving.
