My favorite Thanksgiving side dish is macaroni and  cheese.  My second favorite dish is cornbread stuffing.

Whenever I think of Thanksgiving side dishes, I think of a guy I used to work with.  His parents had both passed away fairly young and he took it upon himself to host Thanksgiving dinner for his family.  He made a great effort to prepare an elaborate meal worthy of a good restaurant.  The first year he did this, his family did nothing but complain.  There was no green bean casserole.  Like the kind with canned grean beans and fried onions.  As far as I know, he has reluctantly served this casserole ever since.  Happy Thanksgiving, all!

I have to have dressing. It is not Thanksgiving without having some type of dressing.
