I was six years old  and remember watching Walter Chronkite on the tv, (black and white), and everyone crying and just the shock that seemed to fill the air.  It was a terrible time in American history.  It just seems like America was so "innocent" at the time.  :(   :peace:

I was in primary school back in South Africa. The country did not have TV yet (only started in the mid 70s), but I heard it over the radio news and then we saw it at the movies. The first half of the movie (before interval) was all about world news in black and white. The footage was pretty shocking!
