Paid Referrals
« on: November 12, 2012, 09:14:24 pm »
I think a good suggestion to improve the Fusion Cash website is to do what Wordlinx does - offer paid referrals.  I have not done this as I just recently joined, but apparently once a month, they have open up the doors to buy referrals that are yours to keep for as long as they do not cancel their membership.  Further, if they do, Wordlinx will one time get you a replacement referral.  Plus they have a downline so that you get paid for each referral's referral and so on with no limit on the downline.  That would be great if Fusion Cash did something like that.  The only problem with Wordlinx is that they do not have any offers or other task to make money.  It is strictly clicking ADs and promoting your website.  At least that is all I noticed.

The bottom line is it's two different concepts and Wordlinx didn't pay enough to keep my interest while I have been on Fusioncash for many years enjoying the extra cash. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I like the idea, but don't know about it for here.  There's a difference when you can only earn maybe 10 cents a day.

For me, I've cashed out 3 times since joining here.  That's $15 towards whoever is my referrer alone.  I don't know where this money comes from (whether FC or from the advertisers) but that could add quickly.  I'm not going to take the other two bonuses into account, just to save time.

Unless the cost to own the referral is kinda high, maybe $10 or so, FC is going to start losing money rather quickly.  Off just my stats alone, my referrer would've already made back their money if they paid.  Imagine if they got someone more active.  That could be tons of money that FC or the advertisers have to pay out simply cause you paid a little in.

Then, on the flip side, what about the people who got the referral and then the referral doesn't earn.  I have 18 referrals that haven't done anything since joining.  I've seen people call sites a scam cause they bought referrals that didn't earn them anything back.

If they figure out a way to balance it all, that would be great, but I don't see it happening.

To take that to a higher level, I have 838 referrals and I usually have 5 or 10 cashout in a month. If I would have paid $10 each for them ($8,380) so I could make $25 to $50 a month, you bet I would call it a scam!

If you have to pay for referrals it makes it seem more like a business, say similar to insurance or a stock broker who is trying to build up a clientele and the idea of one person paying back $15 over a few months might make it seem like the buyer earned their money back, but no doubt the buyer would have had to buy more than one lead for the $10 maybe even a minimum of spending  $1000 so if the one pay out referral is the only one that pays out, that was one expensive lead. It would take a lot more pay outs in the future for the buyer to finally break even.

Hey, thanks oldbuddy.  That was very helpful, useful information.  Wow...838 referrals and maybe 5 to 10 cashing out each month.  That's something to think about.  That is awesome.  That's not as big as I had assumed.  That means, wow, out of that $3,700 banner you're waving that is still a WHOLE LOTTA penny, two cents offers jus' like the rest of us little people down here tryin' to crawl up to the first or second hundred on our banners.  But that's cool, I think...if only 5 cash out, then that's your $25 for the next cashout right there alone in itself, huh?  Or does that fall under the bonus category?  Thanks for all your explanations and all your videos and your inspiration.  This is a great place and I am trying to build up.
And unfortunately, I don't remember how I found the site.  But I hope even just clickin' for my third cashout and working toward the next, I hope I have helped someone.

Wow, thanks for the food for thought, oldbuddy.

Unfortunately cashout bonuses from referrals go in the bonus category, but I had 7 this month for another $35. It all adds up and it's mostly passive income. I only spend the time to do the standard daily stuff and have a little fun in the forum each day.

Honestly, I can't see why I would pay for a referral on here or on any other site. The reason, I have four referrals on fusion cash right now and only two of them have even verified their account. Of those two, only one of them have ever completed an offer. So, I can safely say that I would be losing money to buy referrals.

That is the thing that you have to keep in mind when looking a referrals, there is occasionally one or two that will be active on a site, but the vast majority of them will not.

Look at OldBuddy for example, he stated that he has over 800 referrals and only 5-10 of them cash out each month, that means that only approximately 1% of all of his referrals are regularly active on the site.

I really don't think paying referrals is a good job.  Arent the referrals suppose to be the one helping you, and then they get their own to help them?
