Help. Need Wedding Planning Ideas

We are planning our wedding for next August and have to start with preparations and plans now because of the time it takes and the costs are so high that we are trying to save money every way we can without making it a "cheap" wedding / reception.
Thought that with everyone on here from so many areas of the country that several of you may have some good ideas, suggestions you'd be willing to share....share pictures too, if you have some.
Our colors are black and white.  We are having an outdoor ceremony in a gazebo by the river and an indoor reception at the same location.
I really need idea's for classy looking decorations that are inexpensive, simple to make or purchase.  I also need idea's for things like creative table numbers, seating charts, etc. etc.
Please share your ideas.
Also, is anyone else planning a wedding???

I was a wedding planner in my former life..... there are tons of things you can do to have a personalized and very nice wedding without breaking the bank.

I'd encourage you to read my friend Linyette's blog:   conconfessionsoftheweddingdiva {dot} blogspot {dot} com --- she has a few posts on weddings on a budget.  There is also a website called the brokeassbride.com.... you'll find good ideas there.

Somewhere I have some creative table # ideas.... I'll look and give you the link(s).
