I am 5'8" and I don't feel like I got cheated when I look around at my family.  I am not really taller than the rest of them, but i feel I did ok.  No compaints here.  It is what I am used to and I am completely ok with it.

Both my parents were short. I am actually the tallest in my family at 5' 6".  In some ways I wish I was taller as height does offer some advantages, like being able to reach high places without a step ladder or at least not needing one in many cases.

I don't know exactly how tall I am, but I'm at least 6' tall. I know I'm not taller than 6' 2" though, nor shorter than 5' 11".

I am 5'6", my Mom was 5"9" and my Dad was 6'.  Tall people run in my family.  My Mom's Dad was 6'6".  My Grandsons are 5'11" and 6'3" and still growing.  Their Mother is 5'5" and their father is 5'7".  My grandsons are taller than their Dad, so sometimes it doesn't always turn out the the way some may think in regards to height.  My daughter thought her sons were going to be short, but she forgot that her Dad is also 6'3" so her kids are tall and picks her up all the time which is a riot.

So far I guess I got everybody that has posted beat I am the shortest 4'11". When someone ask me to describe a person I always start out with they are all, and after I finish they say that the person I described is not tall at all. I just want to know what is considered tall anyway. To me anyone that is taller than me is tall. 

Sorry, I am short then you at 4'9'' but I have a giant for a son at 6'3"

  what is it with people under 6 foot saying i get my height from my dad or family menber under 6 foot is not really tall. i am 6foot2 my dad was 6foot4 so i guess i get it from him

5'9 and happy with it hahaha I sometimes wanna grow taller but just by few inches.
