what does everyone think of the new tv show?

I do not like it much. I grew up with the series that Hamilton in it.
I have noticed that lately there have been several new shows that come from fairy tales.
I guess everyone's imagination has run out.

I wanted to drop by and say that I absolutely love the new Beauty and the Beast (twitter trends as #BATB #BeautyandtheBeast #Beasties. I initially got stuck on the black and white version of the movie Beauty and the Beast so of course I have to check everything else out  I totally loved the old show, loving my Ron Perlman (btw on my twitter) and Linda Hamilton (before the Terminator days) and this show has actually went in another direction as to how the beast became the beast, which is a great route to take. Check it out if you have time. The actors are pretty great and all is up to date with the times so do expect a reprise of the original or some old school stuff it is today's times. I know if you loved the first series you'll love this one too!

I remember watching the original show as a kid, and I liked it, but admittedly, I probably didn't understand much of it outside the entertainment value.  I'm curious to re-watch it now to see if I can pick up on any additional deeper meanings the show had I may have missed.

I've watched a few episodes of the new one - and although it's not like the original, I find it has its own intriguing storyline.  So far I've found I'm much more drawn into the Arrow story than I am with the Beauty and the Beast one.  But I plan to give this show a full season's attention to see how things shake out.  It's on my strong "maybe" list and has good elements, so I'll give the show the benefit of the doubt.  Sometimes shows like these don't find their grounding until later in the season, but I like the production quality and the writing isn't too bad - I think the writers are still trying to figure out exactly where they want to take this story.  Once they decide on a direction, I think it has the potential to get much better.

I think there are a couple songs called " Beauty and the Beast. I know there is one by Stevie Nicks and one by Nightwish.

I like it. Not sure how long the story line can last but it is fun to watch. A bit fluffy but that is why I like the CW. It is a guilty pleasure.

I enjoy watching it.  I felt like it was a little cheesy at first, but it grew on me, and now I look forward to each episode.
