has anybody on here been affected? i live in texas but my uncles and cousins live in long island; where i was born... and all three of their cars were water damaged and everything. Praying they get vehicle situation figured out because thats three lost cars no full insurance coverage...

Being a Native New Yorker myself, I feel for your family and pray that all the East Coast residents finally get a break!!!!  Fortunately, for me, my entire family left NY a long time ago and we have no immediate family members there any more.  I do have a couple of cousins, and, thankfully they were not affected as bad as some.  My thoughts and prayers remain with them all!!!!

I live in PA.  We had some damage (nothing like New Jersey or New York).  We had many down trees, siding ripped from homes, trees falling on houses and/or cars.  We lost power anywhere from 1 day to 5 days depending on where you lived.
